Everybody Wang Chung!

Hello Friends!
I'm sorry it's been awhile since my last blog, I've been very busy learning how to sleep better...and much to my surprise and my parents we're slowly getting the hang of it! I've been on a trend of sleeping until 7, unless I Hercules out of my miracle blanket - some miracle :)- usually around 5, but I can go back to sleep with mom and dad's help. I've also become quite the chatterbox...almost full sentences at times. Mom has a feeling I might be a handful one day for my teachers because I love to talk. Here's a peek at what I've been up to!

What a cute little tush!

Ah tummy time, still not a fan. Here I am taking a break...whew!

You mean to tell me the Mavs didn't make it to the NBA finals. In the words of my Uncle Larry "Well, forever more." Shameful!

Working on sucking my thumb...we're getting there.

My new ABC quilt! I use it to work on my mad verbal skillz.

My buddy Grant, he's telling me all about rolling over. It sounds complicated, I don't know if I'm ready or not!

Aggie Sweethearts! Mom tells me it's a good thing Avery and I get along because she and Avery's mommy have decided we'll get married someday. That will be when we're thirty and they allow us to start dating.

Watching the ceiling fan go 'round, 'round and 'round...I'm zonked. Off to nap time!

Sweet Baby Pictures!

Here are some glimpses of Luke's newborn portraits. They are so sweet. I've also included the link to see them all...just type "Ashley Moshell" as the user name.
He's so cute!!

My First Mother's Day

I can't believe that I just had my very first Mother's Day. It was fantastic and I look forward to all the ones from here on out. Luke gave me the most beautiful tulips and his Dad and my sweet parent-in-laws surprised me with a trip to the spa...ah, I can't wait!! Little-Foot (as I like to call him) is growing and changing so much. He loves to "talk" and kick kick kick. I have a feeling I'm going to be chasing him all over the place before too long. He likes to chill in his bouncy chair but I catch him drawn to the t.v. and have to turn him the other direction...he's starting early. He still likes to see what we're doing in the middle of the night, even more than once, but we're working on it...so we think. ;) Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the last few weeks....enjoy and Happy Mother's Day to all of you wonderful Mother's out there, I have such a new found appreciation for you!!

Somebody just woke up a little sad...but all is well now. This is his Mother's Day outfit!

Taylor checking in on her baby brother. She has sympathy pains and likes to keep the same feeding and sleeping schedule as Luke...whew!
Major food induced coma
Still comatose

You're going to do what with that needle?

Yes, exactly my thoughts indeed. I do have a sad tale to share. Yesterday, like a good boy I went to visit my friend Dr. Jenkins. So far I really like him, even though he's a Baylor Bear, we're still pretty good friends. He helped me through a terrible bout of constipation, so why wouldn't we be? Anyways, I made a little visit to his office yesterday for what I thought was a quick weigh-in (which by the way was a whopping 11.1 lbs - I'm really getting the hang of this eating thing). BUT, after Dr. Jenkins and I talked he left and another lady came in and gave me my pacifier, fine, great. Then she stuck me 4 TIMES in my leg. OUCH!!! I had to cry of course and basically show everyone I can turn really really red. It only lasted a few minutes, thank goodness for my pacifier and cuddles. I feel better now, but I think I'm going to have to have a talk with my good old friend Dr. J - friends don't fire "shots" on friends, no way Jose! :)

I'm glad they had Crayola band-aids, it really does make a difference.

I got a double whammy, both legs, pulled out from under me in no time.

I was so distraught I had to ride home sans clothes, diaper only.

Thank goodness for my A&M paci. Dr. J thinks this is why I keep waking up a night, but he's crazy!

2 Months Old!

Well, I've survived two months on my own...maybe with some slight assistance from mom and dad. Things sure have changed a lot for me; my parents agree that it's all for the better. I definitely enjoy playing more each day and mom and I have quite the conversations. Last night while I was dozing off she caught me in a brief food-induced giggle and I think she's in love. :) I couldn't help it, it just came out of me. I haven't figured out how to do it when I'm awake...only ah's for now. I'm still not a fan of tummy time, but I do like waking up in my cribs each morning and watching my aquarium...maybe I'm destined to be a marine biologist. I really enjoy hanging out with my friends, they are all so interesting and have so much to offer to my day. I enjoy taking walks with mom and really enjoy naps snuggled up close with her and dad. I think they kinda like it too, although they say they are spoiling me...my motto is "You can't spoil a baby enough!" My favorite game is called,"my parents think they have me figured out, and then the next day I do something different"...it's hilarious. Hey maybe that's what I was laughing about in my dream. Until next time!

Mom said the birthday fairy came to visit...if you ask me that's a little scary!

"Luke's gonna knock you out!" I took Dad down right before this shot.

My Michelin Tire legs are starting to form.

I'm so embarrassed my mom just made me post that picture...geez.

What!? I didn't know a girl was playing with my toys...I don't even know where to begin. Where was I? Oh, crashed out in my swing...hmmm, I'm going to have to stay awake more when the gals come over.

I don't think I've ever seen so much pink. My friends are pretty cute though!

Thinking about it...
Maybe if you tickle my cheeks one more time...

Ok, here's a smile for you. Can you tell whose cheeks I have? :)
