It's official, I do solids now! I started out with just rice cereal and couldn't quite grasp what all the fuss was about, not very tasty. Thankfully my mom chatted with a few of her mommy friends and they encouraged her to add a little something sweet, so she added pears much to my delight!
Here are some shots of my first tasting experience. I've also tried squash but am not a fan. Mom doesn't think I hear her talking about trying creative ways to sneak it in.
For the most part I really like eating and am getting neater every day. Bring on the burger and fries...and super size that please!

Randomness
Per Miss Leigh, here are eight random things you may or may not know about me:
1. I love puppies...I mean LOVE them! I really would have 5 or more if I didn't have a baby and a husband who knows that is too many. My favorite of course are beagles, but I have a soft spot for labs and golden retrievers too! And also chihuahuas. Maybe one day I'll have one of each, but I for sure want to get Taylor a sister.
2. My dream getaway is with Ross and Luke to the beaches of Hawaii. I love the sun and surf and relaxing environment there - I think we would have a blast and I would love teaching Luke to body surf.
3. I would like to drive a race car someday. I really like driving and not crazy driving but efficient driving...and sometimes when Luke isn't with me going a little fast. :)
4. I have a distant relationship to Reba and George Washington (thanks to my grandma's efforts in family trees). And I truly do think the show Reba (which is now in syndication) is pretty funny.
5. I name inanimate objects, i.e., cars, apartments. Our current cars are Jackson and Timber and my girly girl apartment in college was TCAINBF (the cutest apartment in the Brazos Valley)that I shared with two girly girls Heather and Holly (H&H).
6. I have never been out of the country but would like to go to the following someday: Italy, Whistler, Cabo, New Zealand and Paris.
7. My favorite color is black, not the gothic kind, but the Audrey Hepburn kind.
8. I performed in Carnegie Hall.
Now it's my turn to pass the baton to the following gals:
1. Jessica Widmer
2. Heather Reed
3. Holly Duckworth
4. Kim Wolfe
5. Melissa Espinosa
Give us eight random facts about you!
Thanks for the great idea Leigh!!

Allen or Bust!
Just a quick update as to what Team Moshell is up to. My computer has been on the fritz, so I'm afraid I haven't been able to update you on everything.
We are closing on our new house tomorrow and moving to Allen on Saturday. We are so excited but at the same time sad to leave our first home. It truly has been a great house with lots of wonderful memories that we will always cherish. We look forward to what's in store for us living in Allen, but one thing is for sure, that Ross and I will be closer to his work (and mine...I start the day after Labor Day at the church). I am ready to get settled already, but that's just my personality...get it done as soon as possible so we can rest. So assuming everything goes as planned, we will be residing in Allen this weekend.
God has really taken care of us through this situation. We truly didn't know if this was the right thing for us, but He continuously has opened each door to guide us and gently shut the ones that were not meant for our family. We are so blessed to even have the means to buy a house, especially when I think of all those around the world and the lack of roofs they have over their heads. We have an amazing Lord who is so full of love and graciousness and I hope we can share even a fraction of that with all of our loved ones and more! Just know our doors are always open and you can drop by anytime!
I will post pictures soon....but for now the kitchen boxes are calling me...yikes! :)

Rockin' and Rollin' at 5!
Mom and Dad's little cutie pie at 5 months old!
Me and Pooh Bear just hanging out.Hello Friends and Family!
I apologize it's been so long since we've, I mean I've blogged (since I do this all by myself). I am 5 months old as of yesterday and things are great! Each day I'm becoming more and more interested in my surroundings and trying to figure out how to get most things into my mouth for a sampling. This has also been a busy month seeing lots of friends and family. I never knew how lucky I was to have such great kin folk, but I am and I can't wait to see them all again. I continue to enjoy eating (a lot...mom is almost sure it's time for rice cereal because I just can't seem to get enough) and playing. I really like socializing with pretty much anyone who wants to shoot the breeze and I love moving and a shaking, especially in my jumparoo...what a workout! I am a big fan of splashing in my tub and soaking mom...she's funny to watch try and stay dry...I usually win at that game. I still like to cuddle a lot, but have also learned to love on this little blue blanket with my name on it. Pretty much it's essential for nap times along with my A&M paci. I am quickly outgrowing a lot of my clothes, especially length wise. Mom had to go get me some 6-9 month onesies because the others were a little short and that my friends was quite uncomfortable! I have intensely been studying my beagle, she's a hoot, but the other day she threw her stuffed zebra in the air and it bonked me on the head while I was in the jumparoo. Well, wouldn't you be frightened, but I was ok after a few seconds once mom explained what it was that had just happened. Mom and Dad are getting ready to move to a new house and thankfully I get to go too! I'm going to be upstairs which I know will be a lot of fun one day, but mom's a little concerned about being further away from me, I just have to keep reassuring her that's why they have a baby monitor. So they have been busy with that and I'm just getting ready to start going to school with mom after Labor Day (how you ask? I'm not sure, but I just repeat what mom says). So life is a-okay and lots of fun, I'm looking forward to even more good times! Hope to see you soon friends!
