Bon Appetite!

It's official, I do solids now! I started out with just rice cereal and couldn't quite grasp what all the fuss was about, not very tasty. Thankfully my mom chatted with a few of her mommy friends and they encouraged her to add a little something sweet, so she added pears much to my delight!
Here are some shots of my first tasting experience. I've also tried squash but am not a fan. Mom doesn't think I hear her talking about trying creative ways to sneak it in.
For the most part I really like eating and am getting neater every day. Bring on the burger and fries...and super size that please!

These are the people that are going to feed me...they're half asleep!
Really, I'm just fine with this...see how perfectly content I am.
First Bite!
I was not expecting that at all!
Help!!

Thank goodness it's over. Little did I know it would continue...yikes!!

Way to go, Luke! You are such a big boy! You will have to show Nate the ropes. However, I am not sure he will need the help since he is already such a big eater and if he is anything like his mommy he will eat everything in sight!!!

Congrats on your success. Who knew that learning to eat could be so stressful! :) Pierce went from really messy, to really neat, to wanting to stick his hands in the bowl and somehow we found dried cereal in his neck fat, underarms, and hair!

Sounds like now we need a lunch date!

Luke, I'm still amazed at how quickly you have taken to cereal. Sorry that I shared with Mommy that she could slip a little squash in your cereal, I really thougth this was a clever idea. I can hardly wait until I see you again. Love you extra special, Nana
