and the party goes on...

I love birthday parties! Granted, I've only had one so far, but it was great fun. I had most of my favorite people in the world there. I got to invite my buddy Grant and my Aggie friend Lauren came all the way from Houston. Baby Rachel even came, but I think she might have been a little bored because she slept most of the time. I missed my friends Avery and Will because they were sick, but I will tell them all about it next time I see them. We kicked off the party with a parade around the neighborhood which went off surprisingly well. Then back to my house for cake. I have only sampled a small tasting of cake before. Well, little did I know, you get a whole cake on your birthday! I loved it, so much that I even tried to share a bite with dad. After a quick hose down in the shower, I was off to open some great gifts. It was a wonderful day full of great memories. I can't wait until my 2 year old party, but mom says she can.
