BOO!

Just for you Mandy:
(See comments from previous post)

I have always, ALWAYS, loved hiding and scaring people. I get it from my dad. He used to have a burglar's mask, which looked like an old man with a leathery face and a badana over his eyes. Many a nights I almost peed my pants he scared me so bad. My mom was not one to shy away from it either. The best was when she hid in the hall closet and when he got home and hung up his jacket she came out of there like a banshee and almost gave him a heart attack. All of these resulted in lots of laughs and butterflies in the stomach.
Then one day I started dating Ross, the man of my dreams, who also to my delight is SUPER fun to scare. My favorite was getting him as he came out of the bathroom to a house with all the lights out. SCARY! One night, we were in Austin visiting my parents and I viciously said "watch this" while we waited for Ross to finish in the loo.
Quick interjection: Earlier that day, Ross had to go to the CareNow clinic because of a sore throat he couldn't shake. They gave him some antibiotics and sent him on his way.
Ok, so Ross comes out of the bathroom, lights are off and I'm ready to pounce like a tiger. I'm give him my best "AHH!!!" and smile with delight. However, after slightly convulsing, he says "Babe, any time but tonight. I think I need to go to the emergency room." Uh oh. I felt TERRIBLE! He was having an allergic reaction to his antibiotic. We had to go and get him pumped up with high doses of Benadryl, but at least when you say someone's having an allergic reaction they get you in asap. He slept it off and we learned a new antiobiotic to add to the list of ones he's already allergic too. I really did feel awful, not as bad as he did, but apologized a lot. So lesson learned. I don't scare nearly as often, at least not him. Although, Luke, watch out...when you get older, it's on!

That is hilarious! Poor Ross! I have always loved scaring people too. My mom would actually put panty hose over her face, pull it back really tight, and chase my sister and I around the house when we were little! We loved it! Sounds weird now though! :)
