Our little handyman is 17 months old!
Hard to believe, but Luke is almost a year and half old! He continues to amaze me each day with his words and catching onto little things I do. I really have to watch myself and what I say and do...little eyes and ears are paying attention.
Stats: Weight: 26lbs - 50th percentile
Height: 32 inches - 75th percentile
Words (that I can make out): shoe, shirt, all done, TAY! (as in Taylor the beagle), outside, thank you, cookie, up, star (and he recognizes which shape this is), Avery (so sweet), mama and dada (a given), and ball. That's all I can remember off the top of my head, there could possibly be more.
We are most definitely down to one nap a day, which at first I dreaded, but after a 2-3 week transition it's actually better. Luke usually wakes up around 8/8:30AM (9AM if I'm lucky) and takes a nap around 12:30-3:30PM and then off to bed around 8/8:30PM depending on his mood. I love that long stretch to get done what I need to get done and then we ususally play in the water in the afternoons before dinner and bath. That way he's nice and tuckered out for bedtime...he he, ha ha!
Favorite foods: chicken nuggets (with a little ketchup to dip in...actually he just loves dipping), scrambled eggs, strawberries, grapes, peaches, bananas, mac and cheese, cheese in general, ice cream and ice cream cones, cookies (fig newtons), honey bunnies, peas, carrots...and the rest he will usually eat. He's not too picky which is great!
He's such a sweet little man, full of smiles and laughs. He loves to run and loves to hide...I have NO idea where he gets that from, but ask Ross sometime about the time I scared him and then we went to the emergency room. I took a hiatus after that.
Here's some picks of my little man:

Luke is so cute! I can't believe how big he is now... he's a real "big kid" now. :) Not much longer until little Clare will be running around like him-- I can't wait!
Oh you cannot leave us hanging! Do tell about Ross and the emergency room....
