10 Month Top Ten
Here's Reid's Top Ten for Ten Months:
1. He is becoming quite the busy baby boy. Not only has he started crawling (before he just army crawled, because the wood floors were too hard), but also pulling up. We lowered the crib mattress and it's a good thing. As soon as we come in the room, even if he's asleep, he pops up as fast as he can and pulls up. It's so funny how he tries to wake himself up and get started.
2. He loves to say "mama" when he's sad or needs something (go figure), and "dada" when he's having a good time. When eating he says "mmmm", most of the time.
3. He is still not a fan of green veggies, but we'll keep working on it. However, he does like pasta, crescent rolls and french fries.
4. The teeth are finally starting to come in! He has two bottom teeth. He had a harder time than I remember with Luke with them coming in. He was fussy for a day, but a little Tylenol fixed him right up.
5. He has started having a bit of separation anxiety. When he's dropped off at Joyland there are quite a few tears, but he quickly moves onto all the fun toys.
6. He does so good to sit and play, when brother doesn't take things out of his hands. He loves the "big boy" toys, so I really should just get rid of all the baby toys.
7. He loves to play "patty cake" and has the clapping down. Also, he has started waving, more hello waves than bye (see above note on separation anxiety).
8. Reid is a little tiger! He loves to growl when he's on the prowl, it's so cute! It's a deep throaty growl and I honestly don't know how he does it so long.
9. Reid has started shaking his head "no, no, no, no". I don't know how they pick up on that word or head motion so quickly, but it's almost like it's ingrained. It is funny to watch how fast he does it.
10. He loves wrestling with brother and daddy on the big bed. He has to have a few resting moments when it gets a little rough, but he loves rolling and getting thrown in the pillows - boys will be boys!
