First Family of 5 Trip

Our first venture out on a trip with the five of us was the first weekend of October to the Hyatt Wild Oak Ranch in San Antonio.  It was sort of a belated trip for Reid's birthday, but also a chance to check out this awesome place our friends the Matthews told us about.  The verdict?  It was wonderful!  It was extrememly family friendly, but at the same time fun and relaxing for the adults.  We stayed in a two bedroom condo equipped with a full size kitchen, washer and dryer and the best bathtub ever!  It was really nice and the grounds had a lazy river, an indoor pool with water slide, an outdoor pool with water slide and a beach area full of sand galore for little boys to dig in.  Reid loved the water slides.  Luke not so much, but he did great on the lazy river.  Cade was a trooper and Nana and Papa a huge help to have along.  The only thing we said we'd do differently is stay longer next time.  We had such a good time I didn't get hardly any pictures, but it was a great trip and we look forward to going back!
No road trip is complete without a stop at Dairy Queen.

Being lazy on the lazy river.

Reid's choice from the Tiki Bar - a Capri Sun of course.
