Two boys down, one to go and we're done with diapers! As with Luke, I waited until the three year old mark hit with Reid before we decided to potty train. Plus, having a new baby and a busy schedule meant I had to find a weekend with nothing going on so we could hunker down and focus on the task at hand. We took the same approach of lots and lots of candy and sticker rewards, cool underwear, juice galore and lots of diet Dr. Pepper's for mom. He really had shown no interest on going on the potty so it was a bit of a challenge. Thankfully he loves books and the iPad, so that held his attention long enough to sit on the potty until he went. He didn't (and still doesn't) go but a few times a day, so once I figured that out, we were able to spread out the visits, which meant more successful ones when we did go. Day one and two were pretty rough, but after that it clicked and he's only had a handful of accidents since. He's even potty trained at night, so away with the pull-ups and diapers. He still gets a Mike-N-Ike when he goes, but I'm fine with it as long as I'm not changing his diapers. Way to go Reid!!
