The Happiest Place on Earth

This spring when Ross mentioned a trip to California for work, I oh-so-cleverly suggested he take me and the boys along to visit our friends the Matthews who had just moved out there.  Once he was on board for that, I went even further and suggested, that since we we already out there, why not go to Disneyland for a couple of days?  Done! Thanks so much to Nana who watched our sweet Cade so we could go on an amazing trip with a lot less stress.  It was an awesome trip and we all had a great time!
We started out in Santa Monica so Ross could work a few days and we could see our sweet friends.  The boys were so happy to see Mia and Maggie and I was so ready to see Sam because I knew he would be getting so big. We went to the beach and Luke and Reid saw the ocean for the first time.  The loved it! They even got to spend the night at their new house which was the icing on the cake.

After that visit, we headed to Anaheim and met up with Ross' co-workers who have season passes to Disneyland.  Not only do they have season passes, they have special entry passes which mean NO LINES! It's hard to even imagine the value of something so priceless, but it was awesome!  We rode more rides than I can count and some of them twice.  It was such a special trip and we can't wait to go back with Cade when he's older.  It was definitely one of our happiest trips!

I die with laughter at Luke's face here.  But he claims he loved it. 

They had an awesome show called "Jedi Training". They picked a select few audience members, and Luke was the first one! He took it so seriously, and when Darth Vader and Darth Maul surprisingly showed up, he was ready to fight the bad guys.

Day Two in California Adventure: CARS LAND!

Cars Land gets it's own section.  It was simply amazing!  You truly felt like you were in Radiator Springs.  And once the sun went down and they turned on all the lights it was such a blast!  Our favorite ride hands down were the Racers.  The four of us got to ride in a convertible together and zip through cars land.  It was so fun!
