Happy 4th Birthday Reid!

Dear Reid,
Happy 4th Birthday to you!  You are such a blessing to us and we are so excited to see how you handle being four years old.
You are still our fun-loving boy through and through!  Some of your favorite things are playing on the I-pad, watching Luke play video games (although you are quickly figuring it out), reading books, playing play-doh, using stickers and swimming.  You really have a lot of fun and live these moments to the fullest.  One of my favorite sites is your cute dimple when you’re excited to do one of your favorite things.
You still have a tendency to whine when things don’t go your way or you’re tired, but you have come a long ways in trying to use your words instead.  In speech you’ve worked really hard on your “L’s”, especially when saying “Luke”.  I have to admit, I will miss it when you called him “Wuke”.
It’s easy to see already how smart you are and how much you enjoy learning and figuring things out.   Sometimes you seem like a little man in a kids body and I have to remind myself how little you really are.  Or maybe it’s that I like to keep you little as long as possible.
Your favorite foods are Chick-fil-a cinnamon rolls, crescent rolls and fruit snacks.  We’re working on expanding that group to include things grown on trees or the ground.
Your best buddy is Ethan and thankfully you are in the same preschool class this year.  He is a great little friend and you both love to talk super heroes.  However, we are blessed that you and your brothers have a lot of fun together.  There are a lot of wrestling matches and giggling in our living room each day.  You and Luke still share a room which seems to be what you both want.
It’s so fun watching you grow and reflect on this world.  Sometimes we’ll catch you in thought and say “He’s in Reid’s world” and we just wish we had a glimpse of what you were pondering.  We love you so much and can’t wait to see what this year has in store for you!
Love,

Mommy and Daddy
